Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (”Agreement”) outline the responsibilities, services, and expectations between TrueBuild Websites (”Developer”) and the Client (“Client”). By engaging TrueBuild Websites for any service, the Client agrees to the following.

1. Services Provided

TrueBuild Websites offers:

• - Custom-built static websites
• - Website redesigns & content updates
• - Website maintenance plans
• - Domain/email setup assistance
• - Optional add-ons (extra pages, galleries, forms, SEO basics, analytics setup, etc.)

2. Pricing & Payment

2.1 Project Payments

• - A 50% deposit is required before any work begins.
• - Remaining 50% is payable upon final approval, prior to launch.
• - All prices are starting estimates and may adjust based on scope or add-ons.

2.2 Maintenance Payments

• - Maintenance Plans are billed monthly or annually, depending on the option chosen.
• - Payments are due on the agreed billing date.
• - Failure to pay may result in pausing of included services such as updates, support, or advanced form features.

2.3 One-Off Payments

The following are billed separately:

• - Additional content updates
• - Add-ons (extra pages, galleries, booking systems, ect.)
• - Third-party subscriptions (Google Workspace, domain renewals, Formspree upgrades, etc.)

2.4 Late or Overdue Payments

Unpaid invoices may delay launch, updates, or maintenance delivery.

3. Ownership & Access

3.1 Website Files

The Client owns the final website files once full payment is received.

3.2 Domain & Email

TrueBuild Websites may assist with setup, but ongoing renewals are the Client’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.

3.3 Hosting

Static hosting is included only while the Client has an active Maintenance Plan or has arranged a self-managed hosting transfer.

4. Forms Policy

4.1 Standard Forms (Free Tier)

• - Standard contact forms are set up using Formspree (free tier) under the Client’s own account.
• - Free Formspree includes limitations (daily email caps, limited submissions, basic features).

4.2 Advanced Forms (Paid Tier)

Clients on Premium or Elite Maintenance Plans receive:

• - Advanced Formspree setup
• - Formspree Pro under the Developer’s system
• - Monthly form checks & reliability monitoring

4.3 Clients Not on a Maintenance Plan

• - Upgrades, fixes, or troubleshooting forms are billed as one-off support fees.
• - Clients may request an upgrade to Formspree Pro under their own account for ongoing reliability.
